Albuquerque has a long history of independent publishing. Building on that strength, ABQ Zine Fest was founded in 2011, to bring zinesters and other indie publishers together under one roof, if only for a day. We aim to offer zine events throughout the year. We’ve offer workshops on zine making in the public schools, at Albuquerque Maker Faire, and we produce intimate events for local zinesters and writers on the road.
